Someone posted up today on TKF about your stolen OK Drifter...

It's sitting in the yard at Aransas Pass Pawn.

Thanks everyone for keeping an eye out.
Maybe we will see a little justice this time.
The police department is on top of it and they have a suspect.

Thanks again,
Charlie

Best of luck with the outcome of that. It's so good to hear a good ending with all the stories lately of destruction and loss. And I especially like the two-for-one aspect - this could get a thief AND an idiot off the streets.

Chalk up one for the good guys. I hope they make an example of those good for nothing thieves. I hope the Corpus TV stations get the story.

We can only wish.

If that were enforced then there would not be a single pawn shop in business.

picked up stolen equipment from pawn shop many year ago..
was told that anything that has an id on the property cant be accepted unless it matches who ever brings it in..
ssn, dln, etched somewhere would be great because police at least in san antonio, have officers visit pawn shops weekly or at least periodically to review files for possibly pawn stolen goods.
