We'll be down in a couple of weeks and were looking for where would be the best boat launch for Packery Channel and also Brown & Root Flats.

I thought there was a boat ramp off of the highway between Aransas Pass and Port Anrasas on the south side close to Brown & Root? We have a flats boat and can launch at a shollow launch ramp.

You're right, there is (or was) a ramp at a marina, the name of which escapes me (Land and Sea?), nearer the Brown & Root flats on the south side of the causeway to Port A. Haven't launched there myself in a very long time.

Acually you can launch at Wilsons channel (shamrock cove) & you'll be in the middle of both locations. B&R right & to the north from there Or Packery is Left & to the south from there.

Is off hwy 361 halway to Port/A across from the seagull & sandpiper Cindos.

Get you a top-spot map, cant miss it!
