About a month ago my son and I fished the short jetty at fish pass . The water was murkey and we only caught one pompano . Is this a good place to fish year around at what is usually caught there at different times of the year .

tight lips on those hidden jems. they can be very productive, but as you've found, only during certain times of the year.

I once got into a school of HUGE croaker on the north side of the north jetty, not 1/4 of the way out. Man, they were fun to catch! Shocked

Any structure like fish pass jetties will be a good place to fish year round.. Doesn't mean you will catch every time you fish there though... Good question... Very Happy
