Pangas... Blue Wave...Fishmaster - Been in a bunch. What is the best? I know preferences... Are there any "Up and Coming" flatts boats out there that are not real expensive...how has the Suzuki motors been doing?

This summer I saw these guys in a Trn driving a flat boat from a 20 ft high platform through the flatts.....someone called it some wierd name for "rounding up fish",, anyway I saw one boat at Marker 37 and the driver had a PFD on - I asked him shouldn't you tie a rope to your rear end instead of wearing a life jacket, he said "Why?" (mind you that I have had a few beers) so we can pull your arse out of the mud cuz you ain't gonna dround in 6 inches of water. Everyone in my boat laughed. Laughing

If I were going to buy a boat right now I sure do like the new Haynie. Don't really know how it would run but sure looks good for flats. No idea what they go for but they will build them to your specks and put what you want on them.

Check this design out. You can get into it for way less than $40.

Too many nice fiberglass boats. Pathfinder Fusion is really nice new hull. These are nice aluminum hulls.

I decided a long time ago to go with aluminum for my next boat. This one may well be that boat. Love the design.

For now i'll just stick with my economical, cheap to run, low maintenance, aluminum "flat bottom girl". If I had a bunch of money to blow on a boat I would just get what Capt. Mike runs because I know I would have a proven boat. Its to simple. Idea Yes I would get a different color.
