Sat. morning just outside of Devine. My Dad and I hunted there on the Whitewing special season and did well.
Added bonus you normally get a collared dove or two which don't count against your limit. |

There are tons of Eurasian Collared Doves in the Bluff but for some reason not many here on the south side of Corpus Christi. _________________ Like Corpusfishing.com on Facebook! |

My buddies used to hunt that corner there where Rodd Field meets Yorktown. Times have sure changed though I did see that sow feral hog and five piglets running down the drainage ditch along Airline right before it gets to Slough Rd. |

We did back in 02. did pretty well before they started building golf course homes out there. We caught a 175 lb hog (Last Nov) off of the the first road on the left past the new development that made some great burger too. Jason Slocum |

Hunted oustide of Karnes City yesterday with good results. Had limits within 45-minutes...all mourning doves.....about 50% young birds. Still fun and some good eating.

We did have fun on the hunt. My son had a great time breaking in his new Remington 870 youth 20ga pump. He did well for eleven. And it was great meeting you all at the IMS meeting. Hopefully get together soon and hoist a few more. |

We hunted off saratoga and old brownsville road. Everyone limited out the first day and I only shot 2 on the second day. Game warden was out there and checked us both days! |

Man, I wished I knew some farmers! We went to Orange Grove Sat and did good. Those that went back Sun. afternoon did OK. I went with a friend around Mathis area to a corn field. All the birds were scattered where we were at, but at a nearby pond, those guys had alot to shoot at. Anyway, we all had a great time. D |

Hunted a ranch just south of Lytle afterwork yesterday. They were flying alright, but I only knocked down five. Guess I better pratice more. I enjoy hunting in the Devine/Lytle area because of the proximinity to downtown SA (where I work) and I think the birds fly pretty good out there. Anyway, enjoy the season, folks. |
