I know there are many poeple that read this board from SanAntonio and Austin that have space to put a few folks up for a day or 2, or 3 if needed. It is time for those of us who enjoy the board, but travel south to enjoy it in person to post up and lend a hand to those who may need a place to rest their heads. I am not sure how this can be cordinated or even if it needs to be but I do know that I have a couple of empty bedrooms that poeple can stay in. I have already got one family coming if need be and could take on a few more people.

My house is open and I have plenty of room for vehicles, boats and campers. I can host a couple, maybe 3 people. I have lots of room on the ranch for campers if thats your thing.

Just PM me if you need a place to stay.

I live in Dripping Springs, 25 miles west of Austin..

I only have a couch in living room to sleep on...But can make room on floor for 3 or 4...
Will have your own bathroom, showers not working though...
Back bedroom is full for storage stuff right now...
Haven't finished redoing storage shed in backyard... Rolling Eyes

Do have room in front to park several vehicles, boats and maybe 2 RV's also...
And have water hookup and good power plug(110) outside to hookup if needed...

PM me also, if you need a place to stay...
...No charge...

I've already talked with a few board regulars about lodging. I'm in central austin and have 2 bdrms/1bath on the first floor of our house. Fenced back yard for dogs as long as they are friendly (we have a sweet female Rhodesian Ridgeback).

I may have local parking for RV's/boats (neighbor's lot).

PM me, I'll clear things with the wife and neighbor.

I live in NW San Antonio, but all the family down there has the house reserved. My mom and step dad, my sisters with one sister's 5 kids and hubby. We have a 2 bdrm! Shocked Might be setting up cots in the garage for the kiddos! Laughing

Don't bother trying the hotels they are booked up.

For you RVers, check sites out around Canyon and Medina Lakes. Might as well get some fishing in.

On another note, they have already opened up several of the shelters and I understand the evac lane on 37 is opened up for travel too.

If you wanna make the drive (about 12 hours from CC) we have room in Okla-dadgum-homa. Corral for a horse or two unless my cousin in Beaumont beats you to it, but there is a horse hotel about 5 miles closer to OKC.
