Will be coming down wed. from waco for three days of camping and fishing on the beach. I plan on keepin an eye on the TS before leaving. There have been alot of reports of muddy water lately. I'm open to setting up camp anywhere from the south port a jetty to big shell. Where would yall suggest for the best surf conditions. Thanx Question

Sorry I can't recommend what to do. But on what not to do - don't run outta beer. Laughing

two salty beat me to the punch line, don't run outta beer. would suggest you check with site when you get here(if you can) or the next best is stop at a good bait shop and ask. Billings or Clems (under the jfk bridge are usually up to date with data). are good sources of bait & info.

Being it is a mid-week trip, I would head all the way to the Mansfield jetty. If the dirty water is still there like it was over the weekend then you can walk the jetty and hopefully find green water. You would just have more options on fishing.

Certainly keep an eye on the weather.
