Hi my name is Robert and I work at the Corpus Christi Army Depot.
Go to www.cpol.army.mil register, submit resume, and just follow all
the instructions. With your sheetmetal exp. you should be able to
come in as a trades helper, if anything. WG05 starts you at about
17.00 dollars hr. If you have any questions you can reah me at
361-961-6382. If you get hired at C.C.A.D. you pretty much will be
set for a good career for the future for you and your family.
Good luck on your job search.

You might try TAMUCC. Lots of jobs, tho' not a lot of money, but beau coup benefits. Some staff positions require a degree but not all. They like us vets, a lot.
I know its tough out there. Wife unemployed since January.
Good luck.

Thanks everyone for all the help. There was an article in the paper today about the Council on Alcohol and Drug Abuse losing funding. We serviced about 40,000 people a year with prevention, intervention and treatment and there isn't another agency coming in when we close. We were in SLGC 4 days a week working with those students who really need intervention and we were in 12 elementary and 5 middle schools this last year doing programs that lasted 8 weeks trying to set these kids on the right track. Looks like now there will be nobody. Since we provided these services for free at the schools it really help the district out. _________________ Mastergunner, supporter of hardheads for state fish of Texas |

I would like to thank everyone for thier suggestions and help. I have followed up on all of them and then some. My wife will also be out of a job in a couple of weeks so we are in "early marriage mold" aka spending cheap as hell. _________________ Mastergunner, supporter of hardheads for state fish of Texas |
