A friend of mine (Keith) from Austin and I left Cove Harbor Marina on Saturday morning at 6:15 am. We arrived at the boat ramp in Port Aransas at 7:00 am and picked up OsoJo.
From there we headed out to Shamrock Cove. My friends oxygen system mysteriously depleted itself and the majority of my live shrimp had become table shrimp. We had a couple of cast nets so we caught our own bait. Thanks to Joe we easily found all the mud minnows we needed and that seemed to be exactly what the fish wanted. We got off my boat and wade fished an area that Joe knew of. We were (mostly Joe was) hooking into one redfish or trout after another. We only boxed a couple of legal reds, a trout and a flounder, but as most of you know it was not about numbers of fish that day. Met a new fishing friend, had a lot of fun and learned a little more about fishing. Thanks OsoJo.

Nice catch....Man thats a large V bottom boat to be back in there.
