Figured I would try it again this AM w/ my Wife, though when the alarm went off she was a resounding "no show"...have fun see ya when you get back. Arriving at the launch Kingz' rig was already there and a quick call had him 15 minutes ahead of me. Off I go into less then 5 mph wind...wow forgot what that was like. Paddled on out and caught up w/ George. I see a single fish tailing and get a half-hearted blow up. Keep on paddling and as usual we get separated. Finally find some fish tailing and think game on. Same story as yesterday as it was tought to actually get bit. Hooked one out of a double spot of tailers and it comes off, with both schools scattering Mad Meander off to another area, coverining a mile or so, and then come back and they are back up again! Get on them and blowups for nothing, and finally game on, landing what turns out to be the only one for the day. Saw a few singles and doubles, but never could connect. Got one pic of tails, though it is not real clear.

Redfish529 and I had similar luck in the mud this morning. Although he did get one oversize. I had mucho blowups on the bone spook and only a few pickups on the gulp. Only one undersize one to show for it. Beautiful morning though and a great way to spend the first half of dad's day.
