I finally had the pleasure to fish with Marcus1977 all i can say is "what a great guy". We really got into some oversize reds luckily the last one caught went an even 28 inches with the tail bent, the perfect tournament red that everyone is after. The first fish was an 18in trout caught by Mark on a plastic, actually all were caught on plastics i stuck with my favorite....the pumpkinseed/chart. The reds were over 30inches and didn't mind putting up a good fight, the trout were agressive splashing water everywhere, not bad for a three hour afternoon. As for Mark he will be shoving off to Japan in a few days to continue serving his country.He will be serving on a ship out of Yokosuka, Japan. I was stationed there in 1975 on the carrier Midway cv 41, I can't help but think that he might step on one of my footprints i left behind and get a sence of dejavu by doing so. How do you spell dejavu? Good luck Mark and smooth sailing.

Great report IMS and what a great way to send Mark off to Japan. Good luck to Mark and thanks for your service. My son and I are going to try and pick up a few in the morning somewhere in the back yard.

Im glad you where able to get him out on the water before he had to go. Mark you be safe over there and keep in touch..
