I haven't been fishing in almost a year It's driving me crazy, but it keeps me from going insane (what song was that?...)
Got rid of the gas guzzling 4x4 just in time ~2 yr ago so I am limited but still have a truck and can hit PINS
But I'd like to fish BHP or wade fish from there to the sticks, do a day trip I drove thru there Wednsday Water was beautiful, it sure looked "trouty" Little bird activity but just drove thru while in the neighborhood
Didn't go onto BHP What's with the mess there? Seagull guano? People trash it Did they remove or not maintain the trash cans? Different crowd? Heck yes Sure beats the 2 lane road then a drawbridge then the wooden bhp pier but now tourons can drive there fast and trash the place/beach buy property and limit/terminate our access Driving down to the sticks I saw the Rainbow mess- reminded me of the Surfcats tourneys. Storm in the e gulf may be "swell" for the surfers Just wondering if they were biting in the surf |

| I hit the surf this last Sat. on Mustang about 1mi. north of access road 2. From 7-9am caught so many whiting it got boring. Also one little 14in. blacktip. After 9 bite really slowed down and I left about 1:30pm to avoid the daytrip crowds which were showing up. Went back about 5:30 to 7:30pm but no action that time. |

Well, we left at 4pm or so, and Nickaway was just getting there, so I would guess from 5pm to an hour after sunset.
I know that once the water warms up, my best luck had always been, without fail, the last hour to hour and a half before sundown.
We would have stayed longer but even with sunblock on and in the shade, Kaitlyn was getting pink around her nose and eyes, so we packed it in earlier than I would have last weekend.
Work silver and gold spoons. My best results have come on these. _________________ GOBZA!!!
