I decided to go out Sunday morning with the great forecast and my cousins husband didnt show up so I headed out solo for this trip. I got to my hole about sun up and was thinking I would be by myself. However, there were already 2 boats anchored ON TOP of the reef I wanted to fish. So I went out a little further and found some fishy water. First cast from boat I hook up with an 18 inch trout and kept chunking. I had a few blowups on a topwater then I switched over to a sand eel and caught another 18-19 inch trout. The bite slowed so I decided to go back to the reef and to my surprise there were two more boats there. So I decided to to head in closer. I found some really good water and jumped out for another wade. I immediately hook up to a 20 1/2 inch trout and headed for some structure. I casted 5 times and caught 4 trout over 20 inches with the biggest at 26 1/2 and was about 5-5 1/2 pounds. I ended the day with 7 trout and all were released to fight another day.

I forgot to mention that I did loose a monster due to a dull jighead(dang rocks). I saw the size of her mouth as she danced but them came unbuttoned. Next time!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
