Come on guys (and gals!!) we should ALL be willing to sign a petition that will help all of our fishing!!! AND it's FREE!
I don't care if you have ever been to Cedar Bayou, it's closure will effect hundreds of square miles of Texas bays.

I can't believe that as of 1-23-08 only 76 people have signed this petition!!!!
What a disgrace, doesn't anyone else care about the quality of their fishing??

I'll bet we can easily triple that in only a few days!!!
(make me a liar and lets blow this out!! Pass the word to other websites and email your friends!!)

I didn't know there was a petition. Nothing was ever done about this as long as Perry Bass was alive, as he reportedly did not want it open, separating St Joe island from his land holdings on Matagorda, but he's dead now, so I thought it was progressing. I guess not. Maybe if more people knew about the petition it would get signed.

OK we all know that maintaing water exchange is needed for a healthy bay system,just look at PackeryChannel and the area around it.

Thanks, Glenn I'm all for opening up Cedar Bayou. I love fishing all around the Area and we need another pass to bring in fresh water into our Bays. Again Thanks.

Having seen the vast improvement to water quality and fishing brought by the opening of Packery, I think everyone would want that same improvement along all of the Texas coast.

Now, if we could only do something to stop the spreading Dead Zone off the LA coast......

After signing the petition make sure that you validate your email address. You will receive an email and all you have to do is click on the link to confirm the address is really yours. There are many names on the list who have not yet done this, and from what I understand of it, there signature will not count.
