I remember when I was 13, 14, 15, 16 (30 years ago lord where does the time go) that we knew we were going to be holding ducks because IL, WS and MO would all be frozen over by mid November.
The last 10 years Mo has been warn and wet all the way through the end of the year. Ducks do not move if they do not have to. And if they have a place to set and food they can get to they do not move. A storm may force them to move but they will come back as long as it does not freeze. Survival instinct I guess...
I do not agree with all that Al Gore is claiming but I do agree the weather patterns are changing and that canges where we hunt and fish as well as what it costs to participate. |
