I drive an older pick-up, a '95 Dodge RAM 1500 with 111,000 miles, but it is in great shape and well cared for. And, I plan on its keeping on going! I had worried about it rusting more than it already has, now that I am spending a week at Aransas Pass each month. I had looked here and on other forums trying to find the best way to protect it from the elements and had seen everything from burnt lube oil to doing nothing recommended.

Someone here had mentioned Truckers Equipment in Corpus, so I followed up on that lead. I found they do not undercoat, but they do send all of their's and clients' trucks and other vehicles to Z Tech on WOW Drive.

I talked with Corey and made and appointment for Wednesday at 1:00 pm. Lucus took a look and recommended the way to handle the problem. I had both the undercoating and bed liner done. The first day they acid washed the bottom of the truck to deal with existing rust. I had fished that morning and run over there when I got through. Next day after I fished the morning, I went back and they finished it, took about 5 hours total. I stayed there the second day and spent most of the time talking fishing and animals with 2 other men who were waiting for their trucks.

Next trip, I'm having the paint treatment. I try to take care of my equipment and my truck so it will take care of me. If you want to have your truck protected, Z Tech seems like the place to go. They are friendly. knowledgeable and from what I can learn, good. The folks at Truckers Equipment had nothing but praise for them.

I have had Line-X in my truck bed for 8 years now, not 1 single problem, no gouges or anything and yes I have used it, scrap metal, wood, logs and many other things. Of course like most products it has to be applied right. I have seen some spray on bed liners that were sprayed to thin. This is my second truck with it.
