I hate to say this, but it sounds to me with that much gear taken. It might be someone you know. My neighbor got me about 10 years ago, little crack heads. I hope I am wrong but look out. Sorry for your loss again.

Auto theft crime has really increased since the offense has been lowered to a misdeamenor from a felony to reduce overcrowding in jails. Thieves expect a slap on the wrist these days.

Also, there is just a lot of crime down here. The statistics don't lie. I have lived here for 4 years, and have had my truck burglarized 3 times. The commercial property that I own has been burglarized, graffitied and vandalized 5 times in what I thought were decent parts of town?

unfortunatley I have heard of alot of break-ins lateley. Out here in annaville I have been moved to place my 12 gauge next to the bed, That way if I hear a threataning disturbance in the night I can just walk out and un-load that 12 gauge into said "disturbance".
I had my vehicle burglarized 3 times in 2 years when I lived in town it is truely a disgusting feeling.

Sorry to hear that bud. When I lived in Corpus I got ripped off several times too. One time they came into the garage and stole my fishing equipment too.

It does suck that this has happened to you....getting ripped off is such a violation. It sure does seem that this happens a lot down there. I don't have anything to help you replace, but it is very good to read how awesome the members of this forum are to help each other out.

And I agree with Uncle Ted.....I don't like repeat offenders, I like DEAD offenders. If these guys get caught, they will be out to strike again.

Get couple of dogs..not pit bulls they tend to kill. Get a chow or 2 they pretty much mind their own business and they protect the property they live on..they are good with kids. They have jaws like a vise, and live to protect those that love them, and their property.

Ironman, I try not to get onto the military poo poo too much. My dad went out in late '67 somewhere southeast of Da Nang. He and a man named Raymond Dulac(prounounced DU_LAC) bought a hillsided....sad but true..
