I'm not sure what's going on, I think I may need to pray or sacrifice a beloved piece of fishing equipment to King Neptune/fishin gods......just can't seem to stick a fish lately, despite getting the bites.......I'm sure the Nyati crew isn't missing my no-fish-catching presence, as they gave me a ration of #%@& as they slipped through the jetties on the way to an epic trip to Auger......dang, I should have gone with them......

fished north packery jetty with topdog and Bobby last evening.....lots of bait, clear water, and not too much grass......had several good bites, but just couldn't deliver.....topdog had the same problem, however his was compounded by some "ladies" that were "helping" him lose weights in the rocks.......I found it hilarious, while topdog didn't share my enthusiasm for his new fishin buddies.......

Bobby managed a decent smack on a jig, and then immediately quit fishin.....I"m sure if you fished for them you could load up on good sized smacks right now.....this fish was quickly released in good shape despite the apparent Vulcan death grip bobby has on it.......

Several smaller sharks were seen cruising around the rocks as well, BT and a small hammer......a few redfish were also pulled in by various anglers.......skipjacks are out there too, so bring plenty of hooks if you come.......

Topdog managed a nice sunset pic from the north side.....at least the conditions out there are picture perfect......

Ya'll have a great weekend, be safe in your travels, show some patience with your fellow man, as I'm sure the waterways and roads will be crowded.....

Go south Arrow young man and return with great reports. ims is going to stick close by .....you know where.... and fish some local holes. I'am hoping to wake up tomorrow to a low barometer, actually waking up will be just fine considering the alternative. Tonight i will make a sacrifice myself to the fish gods by frying some fish and drinking some RUM. Only in moderation of course.

Glad that pic turned out as good as it did. It was a great evening at the jetties despite the lack of catching. As for my new buddies, I think they cost me 20 bucks in tackle while helping me lose my leaders/weights in the rocks.

They were being caught today on BHP using dead shrimp, cut bait, and live mullet. I guess when they are biting just about anything will do.

The south jetty has always been my sweet spot, never really had much luck on the North set of rocks. You ought to check it out sometime. This time last year I was tearing up the reds out there.

south jetty is unfishable w/ all the newly arrived sargassum. we normally fish over there as well, but the north side has been more productive lately.
