on page 44 in the Texas Parks & Wildlife 2007-2008 Hunting & Fishing regulations under the TEXAS STATE WATERS-FEDERAL WATERS section.
Does that mean you must have a state fishing license whenever you go fishing beyond state waters?
I called Dolphin Docks and they said no. I must be missing something. Can anyone give me another interpretation? : I hope DDocks are correct. |

| I read somewhere starting September 1st you need a Texas Fishing License and saltwater stamp(I assume) if landing fish in Texas waters even if caught in Federal Waters. It's my understanding it was either this or we were going to need a Federal License. This will not make the party boats happy. |

If that's true....it will keep most of the tourist off the boat and the real fisherman on... _________________ Fish till the day you die...then you can fish in heaven. |

Recreational anglers must have a Texas fishing license and saltwater endorsement to bring any fish taken in federal waters ashore in Texas (see Texas State Waters – Federal Waters). _________________ Fishing and Kayaking its a rough life but somebody has to do it. |
