My grandson came over and cut my grass today for me and then went out fishing with his dad and he wound up catching this nice 20-in trout. I'd better watch out or else he's going to start out fishing Grandpa when Grandpa gets back around.

He went out and fished with my son again today. Outfished his dad. He got seven trout, one being this 21 incher and two redfish. His dad caught four trout.

It's a good thing when the youngsters are out-fishing the older folks. My sons routinely out-fish me, that's the way it should be.
To address awesum's question, my understanding is that the slot is 15" to 20", meaning up to and including 20" is legal. If it's a hair over 20", it's not legal. Everyone always complains that their 15" trout shrink to 14.75" in their coolers, hopefully physics doesn't reverse itself with 20" trout and cause them to expand. |
