After doing a bunch of work around the house, and I mean a bunch, it was time to relax and get in the boat. Started at my 2 minute honey hole and not even a bump. Went to an area that I found yesterday and it was just amazing. I wound up catching and releasing four limits of trout and a 27 in red. But the crazy part was I caught at least 40 undersized trout. It was so much fun catching all these fish. There was one drift that I made that I never casted more than three times without catching a fish. On the way in I stopped at my honey hole again, where I also put my dogs ashes, and where minor going to go, hopefully not too soon. Still no bite and I said out loud, Kokopelli, you haven't given me a fish here yet today. Two casts later, bam, I get a strong hit, line is stripping and then I get broken off. After catching all those trout I never did check my line for frayed leader. That's okay, because I was going to release it anyway.

I hope the water there is deep enough to protect the specks after this weekend.
