Went out about 10:30 this morning and for about the first 45 minutes I think only had one bite. I threw different colors, hard baits, soft baits, suspending baits and hardly a thing. I went back to my tequila and after jigging it I would let it sink to the bottom and stay for about a second or two before jigging again. Working it like it's a winter bite. I started catching fish. I was in semi-stained water working around grass beds and working my bait very very slowly. I wound up with probably three limits of slot trout, one 21 incher and a bunch of dinks.
