Went out for a couple hours yesterday evening to test a few things and quickly found out that all my new gizmos are not going to hold on my old as cr@p starting battery.
Managed to boost start it at Billings about 4:30, so stayed close cuz we didn't have much time.
Drifted some and then put the powerpole down and fished the channel and edge of the island there just north of Cosway.
Man there a lot of baby trout this year.
My son started off with a little red, and proceeded to land five trout before I got a bite lol.
Only one was a decent fish, so let it go.
I caught about three dinks and it was starting to getting dark so we motored back to the marina.
Think we ended up with about 12 dinks, one good size, and a little red.
Always love fishing with my son and head boat cleaner

I have had very good luck with the AGM batteries (Absorbed Glass Mat), either from Sam's Club or Costco (, etc) Using size H7 same as 94R. Same technology as the Optima blue top red top yellow top batteries. They cured a lot of issues with some vehicles I have, also. Last time I needed one, Sam's was out of that size, so I bought one from Advanced Auto for $20 more. And did not renew my Sam's account. _________________ "In your guts you know he's nuts" |

Well, I wouldn't take it out on Sam's for not having a particular battery, due to them being the most reliable battery and tire seller in the entire Texas market. I've not bought a tire or battery from any firm other than Sam's in over 30 years, and without the first problem! |

I hate Sam's Club. The only reason I joined was to to get those batteries, and when they did not have them again, all the way thru my renewal period, I did not renew. Those were the only things I bought there. I maintain 15 of those 12 volt batteries on various uses, but will join Costco the next time I need one. _________________ "In your guts you know he's nuts" |

Wind, rain, cold, high tides has caused the cancellation of the beach cleanup.
. Will be rescheduled to a later date. |

So what specific battery are you talking about?
A cranking battery? Is it a specific model? _________________ Steve-O
