I’m not sure the bait even hit bottom lol. Apparently got hit immediately after i let go. Maybe i hand fed it lol.

I didn’t, always thought i would if i ever caught one. But holding it i swear it was looking at me and all i could think was to get a pic and get it back asap. It had taken us down the beach a bit so i would’ve had to run back to try to get something to pull a scale. I wanted to make sure something that magnificent could swim off.
