Saturday winds were light and fish were up and patrolling the farthest reaches of the incoming tide. I pushed my way through lots of mud and got 18 reds to bite. Four pulled the hook during the fight and one broke my 8lb braid on an obstruction, but 13 came to the kayak, making it a fantastic morning. I returned on Monday morning (Labor day) to a different scenario. The water level was 6" deeper and the rising tide had me looking in the same areas but with considerably more wind. Fish were not as easy to see and were not feeding very aggressively, but I did manage four reds and a drum before leaving to beat an incoming thunderstorm. Now the rods are resting and I am too, at least until the next weather window. Very Happy

I was just about to say that the 4th picture down would be the 'Red Spot Side Pot' Winner, hands down!
