Went for a cruise yesterday up to Red River New Mexico and stopped at a little late called eagle Rock and also fish the river itself. Wound up catching about a dozen little rainbow trout.

On our way up to raider River for some lunch and a beer at the brewery we were entertained by some wildlife along the road.

On our way home we saw a dirt road that we hadn't taken before and we decided and what the heck. Did a little detour and drove down it and here's where we wound up.

The edge of the Rio grande.

Here are couple pictures that were pretty cool. One was taken of the sunset from my front porch and at the same time from my back porch I was able to see the full moon coming up.

Another view of the sunset from a different angle

Coach: I always find your pictures look just like the area where my sister lives in the Davis Mountains. BUT! You guys have water(!) and a little more wildlife. They have no rivers and a few dry creeks. They used to have lots of antelope, but they died from some disease. Just lots of wild hogs and coyotes, and mule deer. Always enjoy your pics. TexasJim
