Am currently at our place in Ojo Caliente New Mexico. Sitting out on my front porch this morning drinking coffee and enjoying the view. Once we get settle in, in a few days, plan on hitting the Rio Grande to see if I can pick up some rainbow or brown trout.

Beautiful view. Do you get elk in that part of the state?

Came across these today. They were 18 of them and I heard. My wife had better individual close-ups but she's not here right now.

Went down to the Rio Grande today to do a little fishing but with the spring run off the river was running brown. I thought I was getting away from Brown tide by coming here. Only got one bite and didn't land it. Although I did get to see some beautiful scenery like this Kachina peak at 12,481 ft. Supposed to get more snow this weekend.
