I've caught flounder on several different soft baits. They're not all that picky.
But the colors remain consistent. Something like a Chicken Boy Bubba clucker . Texas roach, and Zia's favorite Tequila Gold.

Finger mullet or Mud Minnow. They like live shrimp too.

Was just going to say tequila works for me. Just dragging in on the bottom where you think there might. I've also had a lot of luck on red with a white tail be flounder

I usually use the old style Speck Rig soft plastics although the bucktails work just as well. I just tap them along the bottom. Colors don't seem to matter.

For live bait I use piggy perch on a egg sinker rig dragged slowly across the bottom. My biggest flounders have been with this method in the Humble channel.
