Mary wanted to go to the beach today to do some shelling. I remember going down the beach for the cleanup and there were a lot of shells in a big shell area and beyond. We were going to go down there and check it out and maybe fish after shelling. Well we made it as far as the 5 mile marker and then we decided to come back. Driving even that distance the tide was up fairly high and there were tons and tons and tons of big huge trees in the road. It was like the title says, and obstacle course. We decided not to go down any further and just turned around and came back. The surf was really rough out as far as you can see so we didn't do any fishing either. Came home put everything away and went out in a boat and caught some fish.

It had been earlier during the evening I guess. You can see where it was up to the dunes. When we were there it was wide enough for maybe 1 1/2 vehicles
