Mary was going to meet up with her friends to watch The Voice tonight and I couldn't sit around by myself. About 6:00 I went and hit the water and with the tides being up I decided to try some of the spoil islands. I hooked my sand eel up weedless and weightless and picked up two reds around the spoil islands. On my way back I stopped at the honey hole and the water was pretty ugly. I put the salt shaker type rattle with a gulp underneath it. Caught three undersized trout but two of them were on the rattle itself.
