Went out after lunch today and had a good day, eventually. Started out slow with a bite not being very strong but then it picked up later. I did wind up catching and releasing more than two limits of real nice trout up to 23 in. For a while there I got into a bunch of smaller fish so I used an old trick that I used in years past. I tied on a tandem rig and when I would get a hit by a smaller fish I would let it swim around and not bring it in right away. Many times a bigger fish would come by and grab the other bait. This picture is a 16 and a 21 in. Talk about fun.
