Made a recent trip with Tod and Oz, and man it was a fantastic morning on the water! We explored some small structures down South and found willing fish and perfect conditions. I kept a little 18” fish that got hooked in the gills but the others were chunky toads. 🙂

Awesum, my video camera turned itself on while bouncing around in the truck and when I went to use it, the battery was already dead. Crying or Very sad I'm going to try it once more and if it has another problem it will be time for a replacement.

Holy Cow! The amount of money they cost all of the affected parties, including CCA, Texas governmental agencies and the other Gulf coast states addressing this issue is incredible, to say the least. Thanks for posting this article.

One of the truisms in life! Very Happy Always get another limit of snapper, and I will be keeping large triggers now as well. I tossed back several big ones before someone told me how tasty they are.

I never thhrow back a legal trigger and you won't either once you've tasted that delicious white meat. Tougher to clean than a snapper but worth it.

I've heard they are bony but well worth it. Next time I catch one I'm gonna try it.

I don't think they qualify as "boney". It's their tough hide that makes them harder to clean. Rolling Eyes

That just makes it more likely I'll try one. Was leery of the bones but if that's not a problem I don't mind sawing through a tough hide.
