well here we go....
I own proprty on a delared non-nav waterway...
I pay taxes on it... but the "public" in ron White voice doesnt know/ care...
the Co gendarmes wont enfore the issue.. easier not to...
anyway it's been bone dry for several yrs... because it on a co rd/ low-water bridge, I and my predessors have had to deal w/tresspass/ trash... ad neaueum.. we finally just started to dump all roadkill off into it...
there can be a great swimming hole on wet yrs, but the place ends up looking like a CC wal-mart lot...or the banks of the Rio at Eagle Pass

Don't think I will ever forget when SB posted that his father had put a hit out on him. Or when we found out Bama Red was a convict from Alabama with a warrant out on him. Poor IMS got screwed for 3 months rent. CLASSIC poo poo!!!!!!

I gonna admit I was wrong. The view count on this thread is over 1600 and hickroots walkie talkie thread is over 7000. Other than that there are a few with over 1000. That means a lot of people looking but nobody participating.

That walkie thread was from years ago when I was mostly surf fishing. Somehow it got revived.
I miss some of those epic posts. If I recall, flounder daddy had some pretty good ones as well but none as good as SB or bama

Everybody got real mellow, all of a sudden.
But yea nah, anytime you can make it as an enter on Tyler's 'Verboten Word's List', you've earned a little spot in everybody's heart. |

Cant say I am really that mellow. I just missed having a good pissing match on the board. Everybody is to damn serious these days and get their feelings hurt to easily. Bunch of "me to" P'ys.

The problem is that for one, access was there prior to Harvey. I have it logged digitally (and tyler has seen the logs). So that's another false statement. The other false statement is that the trestle was built in the 50s. It was built in the very early 1940s, and has been inactive since the 70s. When you get narrow minded people like ole Karen, you get no progress. It's only her way or no way, regardless of the law. Shes somehow flipped a entire thread about just simply notifying the public of a meeting 2 weeks ago to give input on this project, to apfb is the devil and kids can't fish now. Y'all want to talk about flounder a lot, we'll darlin', I know a hell of a lot about those flat fish, and I can tell you, the oso is not the "hot ticket" for them like it was in the 80s/90s. I also fished this bridge with my dad as a kid off and on in the early 90s. Not sure why Tyler continues to allow her to crash and wreck posts and threads she doesn't like. I'd be super mad if I was a paying sponsor of this board with this type of stuff going on and pushing more viewers and posters away. None of yall were at this meeting apparently, so you have zero foot to stand on besides the legalities of the law and rodnroll has already stated with ACTUAL law experience. |

I've been busy making a living. Not really concerned about the opinion of a lady who clearly isn't liked by only a couple people on this site. Been that way since the beginning of this board. Im out, I have no more to say on this.
