Sharks aren't usually so keen on eating my plastic baits, but Saturday they had an eye for anything and everything flashy. Thankfully I also caught some fish for dinner so all was forgiven.

Nice! Will be coming down myself next Monday, hoping for a least a couple of days offshore weather wise.

Is it just me or has some work crew been out there cutting down the rigs? They seem to me at least, to look different.

During Obama's tenure they were very actively removing rigs, but now they seem to be removing the extra equipment and weight, stripping non-functioning platforms down to the frames. I like that approach.

I think you're my new hero Glenn!
I'm afraid sometimes to take my 22 footer out there.
You are truly a machine and I hope someday soon I can physically do what you do!
Nice work and excellent video!

Steve

Thanks, I appreciate that! It just takes daily work towards that goal to get there. I'm always surprised that some new folks do zero practice and expect they'll launch through surf and paddle 20 miles with ease. It's a lot of work for me too, but preparation can't be beat.

Great video!

But sharks are what God made fast forward for. Rolling Eyes

When you said you got something for dinner I was hoping for Red Snapper or Ling Wink

I am always looking for a cobia, but found none that day. My main focus is catching fish and enjoying being pulled around. If it's sharks that eat, I'll play along - I just enjoy being on the water and catching whatever bites.
