I went and fished a different part of the Rio Grande today. Got a couple rounds and a rainbow.

Now comes the "Easy Rider" part. For those of you old enough to remember the movie there was a scene where there were a bunch of hippies sitting in a hot spring soaking up some hot water. Well the pool in the pic that is surrounded by rocks, right along the Rio Grande, was the actual hot spring where they filmed that scene of the movie.

But there are no photos of you soaking in the pool?
It appears to me the one trout is possibly a brook trout with the coloration on the fins?
Or maybe that fish was lounging in the hot tub outflow Wink

also in Easy Rider, when they're rolling into the hippie commune, it was filmed at Taos Pueblo.

And the scene when they're in jail is actually under the bandstand in the plaza. But there are a series of tunnels all throughout the bottom of the plaza connecting the various, what used to be brothels and speakeasies.
