Volleyball playoffs that started and I'll be busy the next several weeks traveling to referee high school volleyball playoff games. Including a regional playoff up in San Angelo in a couple weeks. Went out mid morning today and did real well. Caught and released 10 trout and one red. Hooked another four or five trout that only bit onto my Sand eel and when I got it back by the boat they just opened their mouths and swam off. All the trout range from 18 to 21 in. One of the coolest ones was I hooked into a big yellow mouth sow. She was tailwalking all the way back to the boat shaking her head mouth wide open and then all of a sudden my line goes slack and she's still shaking her head tailwalking. I guess the shaking of her mouth frayed my leader and broke me off. It was fun anyway.

There was another trout that I was bringing in and as I was playing with it by the boat I looked below her and there was a big red fish staring up at her and then took off.

Almost forgot to mention, the bite was super soft today. Almost like a winter time bite by the trout.

BEST VBall Ref in South Texas.....HANDS DOWN!!!!

Enjoy the Playoffs. After 2 Varsity Players, I miss it on one level, but I don't miss the 'Team Drama' on another level. Go Bluff Go!!!

Cool CS

Sounds like a great day on the water Coach Zia. You be careful doing all of that travel while trying to get to those V-ball games. That and the New Mexico trip. Let me know if or how I can help you with the lift considerations.
