I see fishbites have new flavor, Conquina Clams. I was wondering if anyone has experimented with it for Pompano.
What are your thoughts?
Thanx in advance for comments.

Oh, I need to try that. I use the sand flea version for pompano and it works well.

Thats interesting and I will try them. I honestly never really paid attention to the flavors. I usually use the pink and occasionally green.

I am new here and learned quite a bit from this site the past few years before making my trips this year so I thought I share very my limited knowledge. My 2 trips down the pins for pompano this, I have used

Orange Fish Gum
Clam fish bites
Coquina clam fish bites
Shrimp electric chicken fish bite (yellowish green and pink color combo)

Caught over 5 dozens and 90% of it came on Electric Chicken color. In my opinion, I would not waste my money on Fish gum or Coquina clam fish bite anymore.

Thanks. Did you fish just the fish bites or did you top it off with a piece of dead shrimp

I did tipped with shrimp the first hour of the first PINS trip, but it took too long to secure the shrimp properly with bait elastic to make the long cast. Since then, just a 3/4 inch strip of fish bites and casting past the bar is what's catching the pompanos.
