Made a late run yesterday afternoon. Water didn't seem as nice as it was a couple days ago. Only went to the 20. Lots of people and beach was pretty tore up in spots if you had to drive up high. Caught a bunch of whiting and a few throwback reds. Lot of bait in the water. Guess I kicked the zia curse because not one baby shark..... Laughing

Was a good day except for one thing. Driving out at around the 10 i saw a canopy skeleton sitting by the surf. Had room in the truck so figured I'd haul it to the dumpster. Once I got out I realized what type of person had been there. About a 12 pack of natty light beer cans laying around along with a couple packs and butts everywhere from thier Marlboro habit. Picked all that up with some more trash they left.

I truly dont understand how someone can sit in a beautiful place like PINS and trash it and just drive off! While I was still on the job i saw the worst in people and how they can be so shouldn't be suprised! I would truly like to meet that person and give them a little education on what's right. I remember a case years ago where a defendant told me "ill take the case boss man he deserved it and it was worth it"! I got nothing to lose these days so I'd definately take the case if I could in this instance. A lot of people just need to learn some manners and what's right and wrong!

Sorry for the rambling rant it just got to me and obviously still is! I must need some more beach therapy! Yall have a good day!

Those and the people who set up a massive camp in the middle of the roadway. Where the best driving is and you either have to go into or close to the water or up against the dunes to get around them. By massive I mean two or three tents, a shower, a storage tent, canopy for shade, and other items not counting their vehicle and trailer.

Thanks for the report and your efforts! Agree with both Statements above, just have to continue doing our part because ignorant scum will never change and you will be blessed by the fish gods in the near future.. Or a 9lb trout that's eluded you for 30 years will throw your corky back at you and haunt your dreams forever but I digress..

I did just see a guy throw a cigarette butt out the window and his car instantly die, he had to push it alone due to his bad behavior.. Karma gets us all.

Hey deputydawg thanks for cleaning up the mess. I just can't understand how people can do that either. I always figured you carry in all that beer and it's full. After you finish drinking it it's empty you can squash the can and there's less room to take up in your vehicle to haul it back out.

Right on DD . Good of you to call out TRASH . I hope our park officers are watching for these pigs . I think it would be reasonable for parks to ban these beasts for years if not life from the parks .
