Hey guys, I spend almost every chance I get either in the bay or on the jetty looking for fish on the fly. Seems like there's enough of us around we could get this part of the forum moving again. Who's out there that wants to talk a little fly fishing. Maybe we could get a fly fishing trip setup down PINS or a few bay trips going once this COVID stuff slows down a little bit. What do you say?

LOL! yeah, I got Tyler to start this forum years ago when I was really getting back into buggy whipping, and then I let it slide for some reason...
but, I just got a cabin in the laguna that has a great sand bar behind it, and I plan on spending more mornings doing that this season, targeting reds and drum...can't wait

Well maybe we can all set something up this spring and get everyone together for a fly fishing day trip somewhere around the laguna.

| I used to be part of a fly fishing group here in Corpus call Corpus Christi fly fishers. We used to meet regularly and learn about fly tying and various things and then have outings. Even had their own website. Then they switched to doing everything online through Facebook which I don't do. So I quit. Don over at Roy's bait and tackle was one of the main people in charge of it. Don't know if they still exist or not but you might check with him. |
