Fishing hard this weekend with new skinny V-Hull rig.
Suppose to be a North wind Saturday and Sunday.

Use to make the ride in the spring to Tide Gauge or East Kleberg but dont want to run that far South.

Thinking Boat Hole behind Dimmit Point, Packery in front of Dr. Gully's compound. Sulfur Rd South of Causeway.

Any other locations ? Night Hawk has been slow for us.

I've done real well on trout and the occasional red fishing the crash channels north of the JFK on springtime north winds. Anchor on the north side and throw back into the channels with soft plastics. The bite will slow and stop, but usually returns after a pause. Also, fishing against the south (not east) shore of the King Ranch just south of Pita I.

When found limits of nice upper slot Reds on spoils east of the I.C.W. pass Prue Oil. No trout, no drum, no hardheads on live shrimp .

Never seen live shrimp so expensive. 37 is the highest at $ 25.00 a qrt.

Soft plastics are sure a lot cheaper.
