Went out late morning to the same spot that I reported about yesterday. whereas yesterday I was catching most on purple today red and white tail was the menu choice.
I waited until late morning because I wanted to try to register for the corona vaccines which started at 10:00 a.m. they said you can either register by phone or online. Just before 10:00 I had Mary call while I got online. I could not get through at all but she got through to the health center. they told her the only way that we can register is online. I tried for 25 minutes and can never get on to their registration form. Then I get a message saying that registration is closed that it's full. How the hell can that happen.
Anyway back to the fish. Went out just Northeast of pita and the water was pretty nice today. It was more green than brown and I was able to throw soft plastics. I tried various colors but today seem like what worked best was red with white tail. Today was strictly catch and release and I wound up releasing 11 keeper specs, between 16 and 19, and 1 17 inch sand trout. It took my mind off the frustration of not being able to register for the covid vaccine.

Glad you found some fish.I have a friend who never uses any plastic except the red body with a white tail and he catches as many fish as I do while I'm using whatever colors!
I credit my wife with getting us our vaccinations after registering us with several different entities. I will volunteer her consultation to you if you are interested. We got our second vaccinations on Friday in Bastrop on the way to CC. The distribution in each county seems to be the authority of the respective County Judge, so I suggest anyone having trouble getting their vaccinations to call the county judge's office and try to get some advice on how to best achieve the task. |

I reverse the camera, prop my phone up on my console, set a delay for 3 seconds and then press the picture taking button. |

| Yeah the registration was full in 10 minutes. We are due for our second shot this week. 4 of us in extended family got vaccinated same day. 3 got the text message. Took me almost an hour to talk to a human this morning. 83 redials and bout 40 minutes listening to the same repeating message. |
