Man its been a little bit since I have posted so I'll give a brief report and hit it with a bunch of pics. I have been targeting sand pockets close to drop offs with slightly muddy bottoms. Working it low and slow with soft plastics but mainly fishing a corky soft dine xl or a fat boy. The last trip of the year I headed south with a buddy of mine and 2 friends for an epic trip. Had my first limit of trout by 8 30. The rest of the day was an all out feeding frenzy. Ended up with minimum 75 keeper trout, about 8 over 20", between us with 13 reds and a bonus drum. The first trip of the year I was back down there with a different group. Slightly slower but had 4 solid limits with another 8 going over 20 inches, mostly all released. I decided to start fishing on my lunch breaks as much as possible this year, and it has already paid off. In a spot I never expected, I got my new PB snook at 22 inches. They year has started off awesome, looking forward to what's ahead! Enjoy!
