Sounds like san antonio. Havent they been working on that road off and on forever or at least tie in roads? I know up here a pothold project can take years. The projects always seem to be way behind the growth or need. Poor city planning and maintenance.

When they're done it will be safer for me to get home. right now when I encounter a boat being trailered in the opposite direction either one or both of us need to go off the edge of the road. It is going to go from 10 ft wide Lanes with no shoulders and an open ditch to 12 ft wide Lanes with shoulders and underground sewage.

CS: Any guess on the final cost? $16.5 million will be the down payment!

No less then 4 Change Orders for cost over-runs. Original Contractor finishing the project - Highly Unlikely.

My frame of reference for those are the lifted section by Lola Johnson, (IMS's old neighborhood) and how much of a bloody mess it was then.

Experience, guided by Wisdom.

Based on the signage the ramp that used to be Wigglers is now open. Anybody use it yet?

It is about time for the Laguna Shores Rd. project. I tell my son, imagine how much some of these boat/motor/trailer packages cost and then get beat to hell on this road. Potholes filled over potholes!

Now if we can get everyone to clean up their their curb now that brush collection has come and gone.

Thanks for the update Zia. I think about inquiring about the status every time I get in the car to go anywhere. Wonder why that is???? Laughing BTW, my bet on time of completion is 2024. Sad

If you really need some pot holes, I can put some in a bucket and bring you some. I certainly have more than I can dodge over here in Bayside America! Just saying........and throwing out a little humor.......cC

I lived in that duplex on stilts next to the bar on Knickerbocker east of Laguna Shores back in 1981. Except for the piece from Graham Rd to the school,it's in the same shape it was in 40 yrs ago.

I remember being more on laguna side. Like the house that used to sit onnstilts on se corner of navy base now were going way back. Too much time has passed things just always seem to change. Change can be good days of old sleepy fishing towns pretty much gone. Have fun.
