Next person that goes to have a drink at Mikels, bring a spray bottle of Windex and hit that webcam.

saltwater recon set up all over our area in houston and now they are charging us to use their service. i would have thought they would use advertising revenue instead of charging the customers. i wont be using them. i am so sorry about the t-head being gone. i hope th pier doesnt have more damage. we were there in june and had a lot of fun there as usual.

I saw something mentioned on TV that the walkway up the pier was also damaged.

Would someone mind going out there and confirming this? Laughing

it was the weather channel quite a bit this morning. The lower concrete blocks that make up the ramp going up to the pier were being dislodged. I imagine by now many of them have been displaced. I also don't understand why they left the portapotties and the picnic tables out there. Those are long gone. I imagine the parking lot has same damage also.

They were also using some old pics on the news to show the "destruction". So keep that in mind. Even before Mikel May's was there. The T is gone, but the picture I saw showing the walkway up all messed up was an old pic.

The FB video I posted clearly shows the walkway damage. Mostly displaced concrete slab and somewhat minimal.

Ya, dont have Facebook. My wife showed me and there are recent pics of the walkway damage. Looks like it took quite a bit of damage
