I haven't been able to find out.
A buddy called and they said that it will be closed to vehicles and that they where about to update. But nothing official yet. |

| It's closed to vehicular traffic through the end of month. Sure they will reassess at that time. |

What possible help in Covid-19 is accomplished by closing the beach to vehicles - except if opening it would allow the idiots to throw a big, no mask, lets infect everyone beach party. And you know someone would try.
I've been at my house in Flippin Arkansas (home of Ranger and Vexxus boats) and no part of any of the area lakes and rivers has been closed. I guess arkansan's are just more mature in their actions. Our only problem is too much water in the lakes. _________________ Gary J

| What's really messed up is that water parks are perfectly acceptable |

Caved.........
Weak.
Seriously considering not buying a 2021 Annual Pass, and asking for a pro-rated refund for my 2020 Annual Pass. [Like I did with Karen in Nueces County and her Parking Permit, via Certified mail. I received the confirmation today, so I know 'She' got my Invoice for a rebate.....] |

Karen had a lot in this I can almost guarantee. The fact federal park gave to a county that they don't even belong in, pisses me off...
We should ALL go protest for our Nueces Co Beach passes and PINS pass to be refunded. This will be one of the the first - of many lawsuits - after (or even before} the virus passes, I'm afraid. [See my other threads fore reference.] _________________ All things will pass. Have a Blessed day. |

| My feeling is that we aren't the people they are targeting with these restrictions. They are targeting the rowdy large gatherings we attended in our youth. Large beach gatherings are hard to control. I wish they could restrict just stupid people but unfortunately it's a one law fits all. |

Agree 100%. If the law said all fisherman are fine but all the rowdies could not drive on the the beach they would make all the exact same arguments being made right now.
Its just a few weeks folks, and the surf looks like yoo-hoo. Tie some rigs, clean some reels in the a/c, and get ready for the fall when the rowdies clear out. little sacrifice for the greater good |
