I spent some time fishing Florida/Alabama coast and always found these for bait.

I have fished PINS/Mustang when we visit and do not clearly remember finding any. Are they as common on the Texas cost?

They are around though not in the size and numbers you see in Florida. The ones in CA are really abundant. We used to play with them as kids. Most hang out off of the bar in the first gut I think Becky tells me.

Thank you. We will be down the week after the 4th and figure crowds are going to be heavy. So will drive down pins weather and water permitting.

No big trucks but Jeep Cherokee 4wd and Subaru hoping crowds thin out after 5 miles or so

We'll be looking for you and good luck. You may need to go past the 10mm these days.

Actually that does make sense. I have spent a lot of time down there but never really remember seeing them.

Honestly I would like to move down there in the next couple of years. My dad graduated from Carol High in 70, Him and my grandfather both worked at NAS at some point before Grandpa passed in 76.

The island and CC has always been a special place for me.
