Good morning all, me and the family are coming down to CC tomorrow through Sunday. The plan is to spend Saturday on PINS surf fishing and hanging out. I'm seeing wind reports of 10-15 knots out of the NE. Should we be ok, or is it going to push the surf to the dunes?
I'd appreciate any and all input. Thanks. _________________ Parttime fishing, parttime wishing...

| You picked a good time to visit. The previous storm has the beach packed down nicely, and the weather forecast looks great. I'd expect those winds to switch back to the normal SE direction by today or tomorrow, and 10-15 knots is just a regular day. Good luck in the surf. |

Thank you very much, I do appreciate the insight. Lately my luck with the weather has not been great. _________________ Parttime fishing, parttime wishing...

CS has it nailed. And good on you for choosing PINS bc the city beaches will be PACKED. Driving was good 2 weeks ago and probably better since the TS blew through. You can probably make it 20+ down without trouble in 2WD. Good luck and fair winds to ya! When it shifts back to SE, the bite will be ON! (But hearing good things out of the NE wind too, just observe how it changes the surf.) _________________ All things will pass. Have a Blessed day. |

| Please post your fishing report. Interested in how ya did. We fished Friday at the 25 MM. Like BD mentioned driving was great until the 20 and then I would recommend 4 wheel drive. The sargassum also cleared up nicely after the 20. |

Unfortunately that particular trip was more of a pleasure trip for me, so I didn't have anything to cast out but my board and myself. Ha! _________________ All things will pass. Have a Blessed day. |
