went out and picked up my newspaper this morning, yes I still get it, and the fog was so thick I could hardly see the marina across the street. went out to my dock and made a few casts with my little lures and bring in a 20-inch trout. Good way to get the adrenaline pumping in the morning

That is a great way to start. I'm sitting in my little shop thinking about making some sawdust!

You're a better man than me, Zia. Took that fish-wrap rag for the better part of 25 years, and finally had enough when one Sunday I noticed that of the 12 pages that made up the A Section, a full 8 3/4 pages were ads! And don't get me started on the political list that is so far left, they've burnt out that signal light bulb.

They are so desperate for paying customers, I keep emails of an offer of $13.00 a month for 3 months!!!... I wouldn't take that paper if they delivered it for free. Rolling Eyes

Good job on the canal trout in the fog. Made for a slow roll on the way to the Office this am.

this afternoon I was trying to cast for some mullet to try to catch some crabs and I was catching a bunch of menhaden. I guess that's why the big trout were up in here last night

Drinking coffee and doing the puzzles out of the papers what gets my day going in the morning. Lately the paper has been 2 full sheets on two sections. And three quarters of that has to do with coronavirus. But what the hell, 3 months for $13

I am jealous. I bet that woke you up. Pretty soon you will be catching them out the dining room window.

went out this morning and saw several fish swimming around the lights and threw my typical lures and could not get them to bite. went in and got my fly rod with a small chartreuse and white clouser and caught a couple small ones.

you're in the perfect spot to lockdown, with a boat in a lift ready to go, and 24-hour/day dock fishing

They're just a USAtoday slave. Not worth paying for IMO either. But I don't even watch cable news anymore it's so skewed. But I don't pay for the cable - it's in my lease. Wink Laughing

I thought about Zia's 20" trout last night while observing the many large fish in the lights. I fully expect him to post a similar experience this AM. Smile
