We have made our return trip NPI to escape Wyoming winter.
I took a break from unpacking this morning and Hit the sand.
The fog was so very thick I did not want to go down park road 22.
Therefore I jumped on the beach at Whitecap. Interest unit park on the beach at Whitecap it is a log cabin on wheels.
I drove to the 274 marker and fished 9:30 until 11:00. I did catch whiting and a trophy class hardheaded. I also caught three beautiful Pompano the smallest 14 and largest 18. |

| Welcome back as well. I'll be back in Corpus from New Mexico shortly and can't wait to hit the sand. |

Yep, Jan-Feb is the heaviest fog season. I was watching the BHP pier a night ago and it was just scary. Problem most them time it doesn't lift until 9a or later. If you continue your trek to PINS, just be weary and drive SLOW. _________________ All things will pass. Have a Blessed day. |
