Just got a report that the dolphins are playing with flounder.

Years ago I saw them doing that. They would go down pick one up and just flip it in the air. Crazy site.also when the big ships would go out and suck the water out and flounder would be flopping around in the mud for the picking.

Charlie's Pasture? I've known where that is, but in my old age I can't remember. Guess it's time to pull the old maps out if someone can't explain. Very Happy

OK, that brings back memories. I kept my boat at Port A for about 15 years, so
I'm familiar with the location. If I recall correctly it's off to the left of the ferry if you are on the Port A side. I recall seeing people scurry out there, but will have to admit I thought they needed some medical attention. Laughing I would much rather gig at night out in the bay!

The pier is completely gone as are the Station Street and Roberts Point Piers. You can fish most of the bulkhead down to a point where it is still blocked off due to hurricane damage.

Bulkhead has been turned into kind of a park-like area, it's not bad either. Last I was there (I want to say February?) the pier was still completely gone and it almost looked to me like they didn't plan on replacing it. That particular pier has been taken out several times by several storms and ships! It's just in a bad spot or something. Maybe they will build one further down once they re-open the rest of the bulkhead.
